Maintenance Technician

Staybridge Suites is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team in Columbus, Ohio! In this role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance operations ensuring that work is completed efficiently and with the highest quality.

The right candidate will have:

• Previous maintenance experience required, previous in a hotel environment
• Knowledge of general HVAC & pool care
• Weekend availability is required
• Previous experience using hand and power tools, floor care machines, electrical testing equipment required
• The ability to Install equipment, machines, wiring, or programs to meet specifications
• Knowledge of routine maintenance including determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed

Our Maintenance Technician will:

• Perform general maintenance tasks including painting, carpentry, and landscaping.
• Perform repairs and related tasks needed to maintain a safe and secure environment
• Maintain the building HVAC equipment to keep climate control in the facility functioning.
• Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs, ballast, and outlets
• Perform routine to difficult plumbing duties, inspecting, installing, repairing and replacing pipes, fittings and plumbing fixtures, unclogging sinks and toilets, repair of faucet, assemblies and replacement of washers, repairs or replacement pipes, repair of fountains.
• Maintain assigned equipment and tools; perform inspections to ensure safe operating conditions; establishes priorities; performs repairs and/or replacement of parts; cleans and performs preventative maintenance; and monitors need for replacement or advanced repairs.
