Maintenance Technician | Whitehall, MI

Salary Range: $50,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Install, modify, and commission new production machinery and facility equipment.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency repair requests to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, records, and documentation for all work performed.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills for industrial machinery.
• Proficiency with PLCs, including basic programming and diagnostics.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Technical degree or certification in a relevant field (e.g., Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics).

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced PLC programming and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in welding (MIG, TIG) and light fabrication.
• Experience with CMMS administration or advanced reporting capabilities.
• HVAC/Refrigeration system maintenance experience.
