Maintenance Technician | Cadillac, MI

Salary Range: $48,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Cadillac that are seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions using schematics, diagrams, and test equipment.
• Install, calibrate, and test new and existing manufacturing equipment.
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used accurately.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns to minimize production downtime.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Experience with PLC diagnostics and basic programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
• Demonstrated ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery.

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced PLC programming and troubleshooting experience (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
• Proficiency in welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) and basic fabrication.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles or Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
